At our Centre, we understand that a diverse workplace not only brings different perspectives but fosters a more inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. That’s why we developed a multi-year organizational Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Framework that will guide our focus well into the future. To support our commitment, this year our leadership team and employees completed an EDI fundamentals training program to broaden our perspective and continue learning. We also created a diversity calendar, encouraging our employees and guests to acknowledge and celebrate important dates recognized by our diverse community.

At the Halifax Convention Centre, we have an incredible team behind the scenes and client-facing who help us deliver exceptional event experiences. Our team works hard each and every day to help our clients create unforgettable event experiences.

Isaac Hurshman – Isaac and our Guest Experience team are on-hand to guide your guests, help them navigate our Centre and city, and greet them with the warm hospitality Nova Scotia is known for.

Koji Watanabe – Events take a lot of prep and planning, and Koji and his team of Event Technicians literally set the stage for you - tables, chairs, and podiums, too!

Kevin Leggat – From planning and sourcing local ingredients to handcrafting the items on our menu, exceptional culinary experience is Kevin’s priority.

Jim Crouse – For Jim and the Technical Services department, no challenge is too big to tackle. They’ll get it done while going with the flow.
